Yogurt Diet

Yogurt Diet

The yogurt diet is a protein-rich weight loss plan built around plain low-fat yogurt. Yogurt is an excellent source of protein and calcium, keeps you full for hours and supports healthy digestion with beneficial probiotics, making it an easy and effective base for losing weight.

How the yogurt diet works

Because yogurt is high in protein and low in fat, it keeps you satisfied while keeping calories low. The protein helps preserve muscle mass during weight loss, and the probiotics in yogurt improve digestion and gut health, which supports a healthy metabolism.

Yogurt diet rules

Follow the 7-day meal plan below and eat about 150-200 grams of plain yogurt at every meal. Use plain low-fat yogurt without added sugar. Combine it with fruit and vegetables, and drink at least 2 litres of water or unsweetened tea per day. Avoid sugar, sweets, fried food and alcohol.

How much weight can you lose?

Following the yogurt diet for a week can help you lose 2-4 kilograms. The 14-day version adds protein and whole grains to make the plan more balanced and easier to follow for two weeks.

Important notes

Choose plain yogurt with no added sugar or flavorings, because flavored yogurts are often high in sugar. If you are lactose intolerant, choose lactose-free yogurt or a plant-based alternative. Consult your doctor before starting any diet.
